The 'Frosted Yellow Egg' At Chick-Fil-A Is Causing A Ruckus On Reddit
If you don't regularly dine at Chick-fil-A, you may not be familiar with the chain's interesting drink policy. Fortunately for you, we're more than happy to tell you all about it and how you can go about ordering your own special drink.
While you can order a frosted coffee or a frosted lemonade off the Chick-fil-A menu, you can also allegedly order any kind of drink in frosted form, at least according to one TikTok user. Powerade? Sure. Dr. Pepper? You bet. A frosted strawberry lemonade? Yup. Anything on the drinks menu is supposedly fair game.
That being said, anyone who has ever worked in fast food knows how weird things can get when business is slow. You might choreograph a TikTok dance routine with your coworkers. You might build a fort in the walk-in freezer. You might try turning random food items into frosted drinks. As it turns out, that last one is pretty popular with Chick-fil-A workers.
Chick-fil-A workers turned WHAT into a frosted drink?
As the good people of Reddit are prone to do, they recently shared fond memories of their own special Chick-fil-A frosted drink concoctions. Perhaps the most startling of all these -– as you might have guessed, based on the title of this article -– was a drink made from raw eggs.
Rest assured, the Chick-fil-A worker who posted about the "frosted yellow egg" noted that, although raw, the eggs were pasteurized and safe to drink. This frosted drink apparently "tasted like eggnog." Personally, we still wouldn't touch it, but to each their own.
Oher Chick-fil-A workers chimed in with the likes of frosted mustard, frosted ketchup, frosted orange juice, and, of course, frosted CFA sauce. While we're a little concerned about everyone involved, at least they're sticking with "safe-to-eat" ingredients and making sure to clean up properly afterward. Really, at the end of the day, all that matters is that no one's getting sick and equipment is being sterilized.
