Can You Buy Taco Bell Quesadilla Sauce At The Store?
Fast food cravings come in all different shapes and sizes. Sometimes, it's a chain's signature burger, chicken, or fries that you have a hankering for, while other times, you can't get the thought of an ice-cold fountain drink out of your head. And then, there are times when you simply need to dunk something — anything — into a vat of your favorite fast food dipping sauce for your tastebuds to be satisfied.
Making a quick trip through the drive-thru or placing an order through a delivery app are easy solutions to the first two situations. But do you really want to spend time and money doing either of those things when what you're truly hankering for is a specific restaurant condiment to douse on all the yummy grub you already have at home? We certainly don't.
If you're lucky, you'll have a packet or two of the dressing or dip your heart desires stashed away in one of your kitchen drawers, or maybe, the sauce you're hankering for will be available at the grocery store. Per Sporked, Panera, Whataburger, and Taco Bell have all bottled up their beloved condiments for fans to buy at the grocery store. However, as one Reddit user recently found out, if you're specifically looking for T-Bell's quesadilla sauce, you may want to think twice about which one of the chain's bottled condiments you throw into your cart.
Don't be fooled by these bottled Taco Bell sauces
Taco Bell is notorious for loading up customers with hot sauce packets to the point that we all may have a few stashed away somewhere in our home. Unfortunately, the chain isn't quite as giving when it comes to its signature quesadilla sauce. Per the Taco Bell website, an extra serving of creamy jalapeno sauce (the condiment's formal name) will run you around $0.60 cents a cup. Therefore, stashing up on the stuff for any sudden cravings can really add up. Fortunately, there's a wide variety of bottled T-Bell sauces out there, which one Reddit user recently spotted in stores.
In their post on January 5, the Redditor shared a photo of four bottled Taco Bell sauces at the store: Creamy Avocado Ranch, Creamy Spicy Ranchero, Creamy Baja, and Creamy Chipotle, the latter of which features a photo of a quesadilla on the front. "Which one is the quesadilla made with?" they asked — though the answers given by their fellow Redditors probably may not have exactly been what they expected.
"Stuff on the shelf is never what restaurants use," u/ChangeAroundKid01 wrote, while another user firmly stated "None of the above." Reddit user u/Orangebrook doubled down on this claim, stating: "You can't buy creamy jalapeño sauce. I ask frequently. I did hear someone bought a bag from a Taco Bell store for $20." However, if that doesn't work out, there are several copycat quesadilla sauce recipes out there that you could try instead.
