Dunkin' Donuts just released its new Dunkfetti Donut, just in time for the new year (via USA Today). The donut features a glazed cake-like dough that looks delicious. Pick up a box of them to serve at your NYE celebration or even save them for breakfast the next day.
The Dunkfetti Donut is being released alongside the chain's new supercharged coffee with 20 percent more caffeine, so you can also amp up your New Year with extra energy to enjoy the festivities. Dip your Dunkfetti donut into the coffee to really get the party going. Is stuffing your body with caffeine and sprinkles the healthiest way to start 2021? Definitely not. Is it fun? Absolutely.
Dunkfetti Donut is only available for a short time
The chain said part of the reason for this new festive donut is to bring some cheer during a difficult year. "Heading into January, people could use a little extra of a lot of things, including extra encouragement, extra energy, and extra excitement," Dunkin' said in a news release, per USA Today. This special donut is only available for a limited time from Dec. 30 to Jan. 26., which means you should probably get to your nearest Dunkin' Donuts fast.
Along with The Dunkfetti Donut and the new coffee, the chain is also releasing a Gluten-Free Fudge Brownie and bringing back the Croissant Stuffers, Stuffed Bagel Minis, and Sweet Black Pepper Snackin' Bacon for the new year (via Dunkin'). As part of this uplifting effort, the chain has also released the My Dunkin' Mood quiz, which will recommend a coffee order based on how you're feeling. Of course, there are very few moods that can't be lifted with a donut and some sprinkles. It'll make your day just a little more celebratory and who doesn't want that?
