This Famous Serial Killer Once Worked In A Chocolate Factory
By MOLLY HARRIS
Around Halloween, some of us might worry about candy laced with drugs or stuffed with razor blades, but perhaps we should think more about who made the candy to begin with. There is one infamous American serial killer who worked at a chocolate factory in the not-so-distant past.
Infamous American serial killer Jeffery Dahmer was employed at Ambrosia Chocolate Co. in 1985, where he worked the night shift for $8.75 an hour. While at the Milwaukee factory, he was arrested in 1989 and sentenced to five-year probation and one year in work-release.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Dahmer’s sentence was later suspended and he continued to work at the chocolate factory for 10 months, and resumed his usual criminal pattern. Ultimately, Dahmer was fired from Ambrosia Chocolate Co. in 1991 for constantly missing shifts.
