Eggs have become a breakfast staple worldwide, and according to a YouGov poll, 36% of Americans prefer scrambled eggs. Though cooking scrambled eggs can be tricky, Martha Stewart revealed a secret ingredient to perfect scrambled eggs.
Stewart uses clarified butter, also known as ghee, in making scrambled eggs, which leads to less burning and adds a nutty flavor. Ghee has also been used in the ancient Ayurvedic medicinal tradition for its health benefits and anti-inflammatory properties.
Stewart further advised that the most foolproof way to get soft and fluffy scrambled eggs is to keep things simple and get the basics right. The one crucial thing to keep in mind is cooking the eggs over low heat while gently moving the eggs in a small pan.
