Here's What Happened To Sanaia Applesauce After Shark Tank
By KHYATI DAND
The sharks of “Shark Tank” were initially skeptical about Keisha Smith-Jeremie’s applesauce for adults, but they quickly changed their mind when they learned that the business had already generated a revenue of $40,000. All of a sudden, the sharks couldn't get enough of her tropical island-inspired guava and green apple flavored applesauce.
Smith-Jeremie went with Mark Cuban’s $150,000 deal for 25% of her company, as opposed to Barbara Corcoran’s offer of the same amount for 75% of the company. Although it seemed that the small business of Sanaia Applesauce was on its way up following the backing of a billionaire shark, the deal with Mark Cuban was never finalized.
Sanaia Applesauce has managed to stay in business, despite losing out on the investment of a shark. The brand's Instagram account has more than 10,000 adult applesauce followers, and its products are available on Amazon, as well as the company's online store.
