Costco Just Announced A Big Change Coming To Its Store Hours

Costco announced via its Facebook page that store hours will return to normal on April 18, 2022, in light of the recent loosening of pandemic guidelines. Senior shopping hours will no longer be available, except at select locations where restrictions are still in place.

According to Costco’s post, senior shopping hours were designated for health and safety reasons, but they "added cost and complexity to [their] business." Returning to normal shopping hours, Costco claims, will help keep product costs low.

Costco concluded the post by reminding members who are still uncomfortable about visiting during store hours to shop through the website. More than 300 people responded to Costco’s post, thanking the store for maintaining senior hours as long as it did.
