Chick-Fil-A Employees Share What They Really Do With Dropped Condiments

Fast food sauce packets are often as important as the food itself, and as with anything else, these packets should be clean. Recently, one Chick-fil-A employee had an unfortunate incident with these packets and had to ask for help on Reddit.

The exasperated employee posted a picture of the pile of overturned Chick-fil-A sauce packets and asked fellow workers what to do. One user told him to “throw em in a 12-qt of sanitizer water” to sanitize and disinfect the outside thoroughly and, as a bonus, weed out the unsealed ones.

It seems that Chick-fil-A’s policy in this scenario is to sanitize the unopened condiment packets and then restock them. As long as the packets are completely sealed, there should be nothing wrong with cleaning the dropped condiments using an antibacterial cleaning solution and reusing them.
