Ingredients:
-1 cup cornmeal
-1 cup all-purpose flour
-2 teaspoons baking powder
-1 teaspoon salt
-½ teaspoon pepper
-2 eggs
-1 cup buttermilk
-¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
-2 jalapeños, diced
-1 (4-ounce) can of green chiles
-½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

1. Preheat the oven to 400 F. Spray a 9-inch cake pan with nonstick cooking spray.
2. Add the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper to a large bowl. Whisk to combine.
3. Add the eggs, buttermilk, and melted butter. Mix until combined, making sure to break up the eggs.
4. Add the jalapeños, green chiles, and cheese. Stir well to combine.
Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
