A New Meat Option Just Landed On The Chipotle Menu

When you walk into a Chipotle, you either pick from the several readily-available meals or have an order specially customized from the list of available items. Amidst this traditional routine that Chipotle makes its customers follow, fresh drops offer a little variety without completely straying off the old standard — and for September 2022, something special has dropped.
Chipotle describes its newest meat option, the Garlic Guajillo Steak, as “tender cuts of steak” seasoned with “bold” and “dynamic” flavors of garlic and guajillo peppers, topped with fresh lime and cilantro. According to the chain’s culinary VP Nevielle Panthaky, the item combines the “craveability of garlic with the allure of guajillo into an awesome protein with a slight kick.”
Available in the U.S. and Canada for a limited time starting September 14, 2022, the item has debuted in the metaverse in the form of the Chipotle Grill Simulator experience on Roblox. The simulator is an “immersive experience” that rewards Chipotle fans with “early access” to the menu item by “teleporting” them into a virtual Chipotle kitchen to cook the steak for themselves.
