Bacon Ranch Cheesy Bread Recipe

Ingredients
  • ½ tablespoon dried parsley
  • ½ tablespoon minced onion flakes
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dill weed
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons plain Greek yogurt
  • 16-ounce loaf French bread
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked crispy
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 F.
  2. Make the homemade ranch seasoning by combining the parsley, onion flakes, garlic powder, dill weed, onion powder, and salt in a small bowl.
  3. Mix the butter, Greek yogurt, and ranch seasoning in another small bowl. Stir until well-combined.
  4. Slice the loaf of French bread in half horizontally. Place the loaf on a baking sheet with the cut sides facing up.
  5. Roughly chop the crispy bacon into small pieces.
  6. Spread the ranch butter mixture onto both slices of French bread, covering the entire surface evenly.
  7. Sprinkle the bread with the bacon crumbles, then add 1 cup of the cheese to each half of the bread.
  8. Bake the bread in the preheated oven for 8 minutes. Switch the oven to broil and broil for 1-2 minutes, until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
  9. Cool slightly, then slice and serve. Top with green onions, if desired.
