Creamy Pesto Pasta Recipe

Ingredients
7 ounces fusilli pasta
1 teaspoon olive oil
2 large cloves garlic, crushed
8 ounces cooked chicken pieces
⅔ cup heavy cream
⅓ cup green pesto
12 cherry tomatoes, halved
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
Boil and drain the pasta as per the package instructions.
Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a large frying pan and fry the garlic on a low-medium setting for about 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add the chicken, turn the heat up a little, and fry for a few minutes to cook it through.
Add the cream and pesto and stir well to combine.
Add the cooked pasta, tomatoes, and Parmesan cheese, and stir. Cook for another 3 to 4 minutes.
Serve the creamy pesto pasta optionally with fresh chopped basil and extra grated Parmesan cheese.
