  • Four years later, she moved to France and changed careers to become a writer. A journey that started out slowly after she joined a start-up based in Tel Aviv.

She joined Static Media as a freelancer for Mashed in 2024. Since then, she has been creating features about food, one of her many passions.

Carla has a bachelor's and an honour's degree in geology and environment soil science from the University of Pretoria, South Africa.
