Gordon Ramsay Just Fell For This Hilarious TikTok Egg Prank
Gordon Ramsay is infamously known for his brutal critiques of dishes made on his reality TV shows like "Hell's Kitchen" and "MasterChef." Now, he's taken those critiques to the popular social video-sharing app, TikTok. His TikTok profile feed mostly consists of his reactions, which he tags as #RamsayReacts, to other people's cooking, plus some videos of his own recipes.
But every now and then, we get a behind-the-scenes look at Ramsay's other job — being a dad to teenagers. Ramsay's 19-year-old daughter, Matilda (or "Tilly"), often shares her father's softer side for her own 6.7 million TikTok followers. Although most of her videos consist of the father-daughter duo performing TikTok dances together, Tilly posted a video on Wednesday that added some extra variety to her feed — and gave us what's quite possibly the best #RamsayReact content yet. The video shows Tilly tricking her father with a hilarious viral egg prank, with Tilly's caption joking, "I'm still running far far away...."
The prank and Ramsay's reaction
What Ramsay thought was a magic trick ending up being a pretty messy (but hilarious) prank. In the video, Tilly puts an egg on top of a water bottle, moves her hands around to make it "disappear," which prompts Ramsay to look inside the bottle for the vanishing egg. The result? Tilly squeezing the water bottle right into Ramsay's face, smashing the egg onto his head, and promptly running away. (TBH, we'd run away too.) Ramsay sits there in shock, drenched in water and cracked egg. Fortunately, he's a good sport about it and laughs it off.
As you could probably imagine, the comments section of the video is pretty wild. "She fears no man," one TikTok user commented. "Not even God himself makes her feel fear." Other users turned Ramsay's infamous critiques into jokes about the prank, imagining him saying things like, "Egg needs more salt!" and "That water was DRY." Anyway, we're definitely here for some more of Tilly's versions of #RamsayReacts content.
